Oil filter adapter

Here is my next dilemma my 454 is a mv block it came w a horizontal oil filter.no working w headers is there after market adapter to make the filter vertical?? Ty

No biggie, just put one of these factory adapters on.

Are you willing to mount the filter remotely?

If you remote mount the filter, be certain to have oil rated and pressure rated lines to the adapter as they will deteriorate after a while and can burst. Steel braided works best.

crispey is that a gen 5 motor???? and the part number for that set up.i really want to keep the filter where it is tho..

Not a gen 5 just posted it up a general option. But since you dont want to relocate the filter I've heard GM part #3853870 works. I've never owned a big block or tried this though.
