Timing gun :) you should check the timing

Sent from the dust in front of you!

Ill give it a shot. Why would the timing be jacked all of a sudden?

Sorry so much posting. I was trying to keep it steady at 45 and it started pooping like crazy. Letting off more gas nothing helped. More gas made it pop more though. Just no power at all.

It's def not loose. And I don't understand why it would run fine in lower speeds and not higher if it was timing? It sounds perfectly normal in lower speeds. I've never come across a problem like this myself.
I have 2 fuel filters one in the carb and one before the carb

Not sure if this is significant. I'm on the side of the road, thought I'd pull the filter inside the carb see what happens. I pulled the full line and it sprayed fuel everywhere. There was alot of pressure in the line and I don't recall it ever having done that before.

Ok cool. So you pulled the fuel line while it was running?

I'm generally pretty good with my trucks and troubleshooting. I've worked in a couple shops even. But this has got me stumped. I know I'm missing something but I just can't fig it out.

How old are the rubber parts of the fuel line. Some people have reported on forums where the line collapsed at high flow rates, or there were loose pieces flapping inside that acted to clog the line at high flow rates.

Having fuel pressure when the engine is not running makes me wonder about fuel tank venting. Does yours have vent lines? If not, is the cap vented?
