Hey guys I bought an 87 V15 long bed back in July. I’m retired so I needed something to keep me busy. Unfortunately I found that the frame is bent in a few places so I’ve been searching the net for a replacement frame near coastal Georgia. If any knows where I can find a replacement I would be forever grateful.

Is the frame kinked or cracked anywhere, or just a little twisted? A frame shop should be able to straighten it for pretty cheap, hell of a lot less work than doing a frame swap and IME it's usually only a few hundred bucks, probably no more than you would spend on another frame (if not less)

There’s a slight twist in front on the driver side, a kink with crack on the front passenger side , bent front crossmember, a superficial bend at the end of the passenger side. Only 1 out of three places here was willing to work on the frame and they want $800. The rest of the truck is solid. I found a possible replacement that is complete minus the front clip for $1500

FWIW, any 1/2 ton longbed or 3/4 ton 4x4 frame from 81-87 should be a direct swap. I've seen several frames just sitting around here for $100 or so, but I'm on the other side of the country from you.
