I would make sure to secure it to the carpet so it doesnt slip over the brights switch

I was actually going to trim that small corner piece off...it came with clips for the carpet too but seems like at some point I always forget they are there and pull the mat out to clean it and take the clips with me!

well if it doesnt slide much at all over a short span, I wouldnt worry. but if the friction isnt enough and has any shifting it can do id at least pin down the front so that it cant go under pedals or over the switch. you could even do that by using a grommet tool and putting one in the front and just something simple or any number of things. hell a plastic tarp tie down clamp thing from harbor freight on the other end and a wire to the seat track or something lol.

The new repo mats are a great quality rubber... BUT...I ordered the tan ones and the color was way off. The new tan mats were not even close to my original tan mats. It was not even close so I sent them back

i also realized my first cars floormats appear the same shape as the rubber ones. if they rubber ones stayed the same in the 70s-80s, then apparently fwd 85-91 ish cars had the possibility lol?
Carpeted for luxury and carries a physically impossible amount of sand that never stops coming out.

I got the new GM repo mats from Holly, The Tan ones are more of an olive color. I sent them back. I have the OEM tan mats for my 87 and the repo color is way off. I was happy with the quality but the color was not even close to tan. Its more like an olive brown color.

Quality is just like original, heavy duty and made exactly the same. Mine are still good from my 87 - they are original tan. the new reproduction mats are more of an olive brown color. deff not tan but listed as tan.

I was browsing the inter and found Holley is now reproducing OEM floor mats for Square Bodies. They're available in black, gray and tan. $130

Sorry it took a awhile to reply. It snowed and it's been cold as hell.

Here's the mats. Gray is charcoal which matches my charcoal interior perfectly. You can see the mats are wider than the standard auto parts versions. Same quality I remember when I had my first Square in 1989.
