Just bought all kinds of stuff since I've been eyeing it and I'll ask for forgiveness later.

Wife kids are asleep, living with inlaws 'cause I sold our house for good money, got that money in MY account.... Hehe

I got a blah red custom deluxe interior. I already replaced all weatherstripping and painted door/kick panels black. Replaced the vinyl flooring with carpet. New LEDs in the dash and elsewhere. So check this out.

This BA steering wheel, and (I don't know if y'all remember how legit soundstream was back in the day. It was a low key contender like Clarion) this awesome 12" sub with built in amp I'm super excited about, and then the black seat cover from usa1industries. The picture will hopefully look like mine, minus pwr options.

What y'all think? I'm pretty stoked but feel free to rain down. I'll try to take some BaA pics/vids

The black interior looks good.
Did you paint the panels and if so what product?
I've seen OER, SEM and duplicolor.
Also is you seat all black or is the center dark gray?

I know the heat gets bad down there but wow I didnt know it went down into the teens sometimes. Thats no fun at all. Even the temperature swings are bigger in Texas.

With the temp being 106, 108, and 111 last week in DFW I can't wait for some TX kind of cold.

Initially I did krylon. It turned out good but I'm redoing them since I didn't do any surface prep. I was being lazy and testing out the color. I've ordered some SEM to redo. The seat pic in the OP was a usa1industries sample. My interior should look the same. I'll know more about that seat when it gets here... I'll keep ya posted. It looks a little 2 toned though

I 've used the OER before and it worked well. Also heard the SEM is good.
Right the seat does look a bit two tone. I'm thinking abut going all black with my K5 interior but would want solid black.

Guys.... Holy cow. If you want some bump... That soundstream setup is legit! I bought a $30 wire kit, so for $190, I got a badass setup that would have been like $700 back in the day, or even now. Just saying... Now I get to listen to all the tunes I used to bang out in the 90's and 00's when I had my first square. Good times

Here was my purchase history. Looks like I spent a total of about 400 after everything. To mount the 6x9s I cut a piece of plywood out that would wedge in the corner of where the 4x10s go. I carpeted that, mounted the speaker and used that baffle on the back. I'm sure I could get better quality but this work for me.

So kind of an unfortunate turn of events and a better outcome. I took my seat out, removed the back, removed the cover, dusted the foam off, cut a new piece of 1" foam to match the new cover and realized after stretching the new cover the previous owner put a 73-80 seat in my 85. Can't find a good cover for those older ones either. Just happened to look on CL and see a seat for an 85 for sale. Dude wanted $100 and it's in great shape! So now I can't sell the old cover without the seat. Sorry @yevgenievich Sucks but if I get a buyer for my old one I come out better off.
