So I was working on putting a radio in my truck this week. I got very frustrated trying to find a setup for 6x9's locally. I found nothing...... Well I got a real good deal on some high quality Rockford Fosgate 3.5 inchers so I went ahead and got 4.
So I got out my redneck fingernail clippers did some very minor trimming under the dash and put 2 in the stock corner location and 2 in the 4x10 center hole. It allowed me to repair and paint the dash also. It was ugly red. I havent seen anything similar to this so I thought I would share.
VERY glad that I finally have a radio even though I have no low end sound... YET..

I used a Dupli Color Plastic Paint. It is what I have painted all my interior trim with. It works really well if you put in the prep work. I did my gauge panel with it and it turned out very good also.

Cool, I have some of that but have been afraid to try it. I figured knowing my luck, it'd peel off or something.

Sand Sand Sand, Wipe with alcohol then paint. I recently did my headliner and I painted both the plastic and metal trim pieces with it and it turned out great
