I paid to become a supporting member, but I don't see what all the perks are from supporting the site. Are stickers still being offered for paid memberships?

Apparently it's been a long and drawn-out process getting the issue resolved with stickers.

It's not terribly expensive to have stickers made anymore. I've had many made over the years. Stickermule, vistaprint, and several others work well.

supporting the site keeps it up so you can post stuff like this. Forums aren't free. If you feel you've learned enough and want to hang out and contribute to others with your knowledge....or want to learn more, feel free to contribute.

All up to you and your conscious/values. I'm not gonna fret about a sticker that was once available. I've learned TONS here and got outta plenty of jams, due to this sight, to not support it. Let alone, the few members I've actually met and got to shoot the $h|t with and trade parts with on a simple handshake.

I've also seen an increase of folks that, no offense, don't know diddly about vehicles. Plenty of members here try to help those, with no knowledge of ANY vehicle repair, get through their issue.

Just a Thought

Woo-hoo! I'm legit not a freeloader!

Long overdue. TBH, my major issue was with online transactions in general and PayPal in particular -- I made an account ten years ago and never used it but they send me e-mail spam every week it seems. And inertia and laziness.

I've learned so much and had many laughs too. My '73 would not be on the road without all the advice and help and info I have learned here. Thanks to all.

ETA -- one other reason was it was not clear EXACTLY how to contribute. I know it's gauche to shill for money all the time, and it rubs a lot of Americans the wrong way -- see also Zelensky, Voldomyr. But a small subtle button discreetly at the top saying "contribute to GMSB" would not be out of line. One of Amazon.com greatest insights was the "buy it NOW!" one-click purchase button. Well, that and realizing that people have a totally irrational attitude towards paying for "shipping" and will always pay more than the real "price + shipping" if they get "free shipping".
