New ACC Carpet

I installed anew ACC carpet in my 73. How far from the door seals should I trim the carpet? I don't have the door sills yet and currently just trimmed it and tucked it down next to the seals.

I am in the same boat dot't have my door sills yet eather
and don't want to cut the carpet until I do so I am just going to wait

I just installed the same carpet, love it. I had my sills but it was still nerve racking. I trimmed as close as I could to the weather strip and the sills went in nicely. My head ache was cutting out for the floor shifters.

Rock Auto has ACC carpet for $107. I'm getting ready to purchase one but can't decide between black or blue.

I ordered the ACC carpet from Rockauto. It was not nearly as nice as that pictured. It just felt... thinner. Like they had not used enough plush or something. It was ok carpet overall and fit well. It did also have two rubbed-thin spots. But I dealt with it. It looks good installed and covered with seats etc.

Mine fit a bit funny because I did the whole layered insulation thing so there was a ton of insulation underneath. But it still worked.

Oh, and get the optional mass backing. It ads a thick layer of rubber or something to the back to help with sound and heat. That was the best part about the carpet.
