Hello,
The truck has 235 75 R15's.
The rims are original. Got a pin hole in one. Now won't hold air.
I am without a spare. All the rubber(all 5) is somewhat played out.
This is a work truck. She is a good truck, Painted the frame many moons ago
and keep her out of the salt. Though, time is catching up with her.
I am thinking about swapping out the 4.2L for a motor out of a Subrnnn.(V8)
I do plan to keep the truck around for a while. I don't know how far into a resto... project
I am interested in going due to the many other things/projects going on but, it would
be nice to have a little more power.(Instead the 4.3L lack of power).
Anyway, Rims are 5 lug 15" I think they are 7" wide? I am always on a tight
budget. So I do alot of shopping the the Auto recycle. My thoughts were to see
about getting larger(larger meaning 16" 17" diameter etc.) rims off of perhaps a
later model truck from the junkyard. So the reason for larger diameter rims
would be so I can possibly have more of a selection for tires at the junkyard.
Being that 15" rims is less common on the newer vehicles.
Thanks! let me know if I need to clarify anything, TruKaGe
