S-10 frames are too narrow for 55-59. They work great on earlier trucks. I chose this frame because it was available for a good price.
Just curious. I haven't started mine yet, and have a C10 frame availible, would hate to get rid of it if it would be a good donor for the 57.

Sweet project. I've always wanted a 50's panel. Why did you go with a squarebody frame? It seems like most guys use a S10 or do a Nova/Camero front stub. I have a 57 shortbed stepside that I hope to start building some day.
