I watched the video. Yep, you've got a lot to learn and you're at the right place. But it's a good truck and a great deal at $2000. That is a 14 bolt full rear end. It appears someone has replaced the floor pans before so alot of work has already been done. The brake lines were probably rusted too and why they've been replaced. For the doors, don't over analyze. Visit the Fix Slamming Doors thread first. Then if needed adjust the hinges.

You don't need spicers. Moog has good quality ones as well. Spicer will be a whole lot more money.

This is true too. Even the Precision brand at O'Reily's seem to be pretty good quality. Just avoid the cheap cheap cheap ones like Value Craft.

I'm going to go to carquest and see what they have. I couldn't find axle shaft u joints but I did find driveshaft spicers for 29$ which is pretty decent for me

It was my understanding it was a Cab and Chassis truck originally. If it was, then it's going to have a 14 bolt Full Floater, not the Dana 70. Dana 70 only came on the full bodied Pick Up 1 tons with pick up truck beds on them. C&C got narrower 14b Full Floaters, the pick ups got Dana 70's and some even Dana 70HD.

That is a real nice truck! Check the king pin bushings as they tend to wear.

Maybe it's not a C&C then. I don't recall seeing a pic of it.

Ahh yes I did. Didn't pay attention to the axle. My ISP sucks so watching video is a joke, not to mention camera man didn't get in on the good stuff well  I remember a hydro pump and PTO so assumed it was a C&C truck.
