after andy brought it back to my attention I'm seriously considering running an inverted T steering setup to avoid trying to find a dana 44 flat top knuckle.

I'm unsure if I want to drill out the taper and use a TRE taper insert from wfo, or buy their already retapered TRE and just use it on the axle. There's is made to use on the PS as far as I know or I could flip mine around and make it work on the PS.

My other concern would be it's for TRE taper and not drag link, I didn't know drag link taper differed from tie rod end.

I had also thought well use a TRE down low into that TRE with the retapered hole or drilled and tre taper installed, then up top on the pitman arm use an actual drag link end.

nope living with in laws and not having enough coin to finish my house is getting old, but yea if I sell it then my next truck will be a square body 4x4 so I can use the front axle I got and the rallys and such.

I bought a for sale sign to hang on it, gonna throw it out there for around $4k and let em talk me down, but it's not leaving for any less then $3k, newly rebuilt motor, maybe 1000 miles if that, new trans same mileage, new front end parts less then 300 miles on em, new brakes all around, solid body, yea I think it shoul d be worth it.

If not then it's not gonna leave.

I guess you modified that roll bar for the GMT400 huh? Or can you keep it for future 4x4 Square purchase???

no mods really it'd work just fine for a square, same as the rallys and the springs, front axle and all that stuff.

I was wondering when there was going to be an update, although that's not the kind of update I was expecting. Figured the house had you pretty well occupied.

For your sake of getting your house ready, I hope you get a buyer for it. I can agree with those priorities and see the reason why. And besides, if you want a straight axle truck anyway.... and the fact, you'd replace it with a Square... Hope it sells. :waytogo:

had several offers already and plenty of interest, none met my price tho lol.

best offer was 25 hundy cash money and 2 guitars, one fender one Yamaha both acoustic I guess.

also got offered my old monte ss back and 1g cash. if I didn't need the cash I probably would go for that one, but would need more cash.

got 2 emails from CL, one guy wanted to trade me 2 yoters, or Toyotas for it lol one knocking one not, one 94 one 95, sorry no trades lol, unless it's a squrebody chevy even an s-10 and like 2-2500 cash.

then the guitar guy wanted to know if I thought about his offer and wanted to, told him nope 3k cash no guitars bottom price.

also had a CL email guy wanting me to call him, haven't done it yet.

Also thought since I listed it for 4k I'd offer up some stuff if someone was interested for that much, leave my system in it, 2 kicker compvr's cost $130 each and a 400 watt sub amp cost 2xx something new, then put the roll bar and lights back in it, and throw in the quarts of base and gallon of clear I bought for it, and the trailer hitch I took off it, heck I'd give em the stock lights too, just to get em out of the garage LOL.
