after andy brought it back to my attention I'm seriously considering running an inverted T steering setup to avoid trying to find a dana 44 flat top knuckle.
I'm unsure if I want to drill out the taper and use a TRE taper insert from wfo, or buy their already retapered TRE and just use it on the axle. There's is made to use on the PS as far as I know or I could flip mine around and make it work on the PS.
My other concern would be it's for TRE taper and not drag link, I didn't know drag link taper differed from tie rod end.
I had also thought well use a TRE down low into that TRE with the retapered hole or drilled and tre taper installed, then up top on the pitman arm use an actual drag link end.
