The small power gain isn't worth the ping risk from 9:1 to 10:1 on these engines.

I think 9:1 or thereabouts would work great with that cam.

Would a firing order swap play well with a dual plane manifold?
Yes. Look at small block fords.

JK, to be honest the only engines I have experience with are bbc and alittle jeep 4.0. Good to know, I may have to try a 4/7 swap next time I change my cam. I'll have to look around for some clips of how they sound.

I've never heard that it wouldn't. I've seen people run the 4/7 swaps with eddie rpm air gap dual planes.

Good to know, always glad to learn new things
