I didn't think anybody still made those nice heavy duty stainless bumpers anymore. All these modern trucks with bodies shaped around the stock bumper, it kinda killed off the aftermarket bumper market.

That's exactly what killed the aftermarket bumper market. Bumbers are now OEM or SortaFit replacements.

3m makes the grippy pads that stick on the top so you don't bust your ass when the bumper is wet. My grandpa was a chemical engineer for them for like 40 years and brought me some new grips the other day. I just can't figure out how to get the old ones off.

Buy a heat gun. Takes that **** right off, adhesive and all. Might be able to get a hair drier to work but might take longer. Heat an edge up until you can peel a corner up then just keep heating and peeling until it comes off.

He spends his weekends in OH at his house, but he works in VA.

How much are you wanting for it? It should sell on CL if you have it priced right.

I haven't really decided. I have a truck driver that lives in Richmond VA. If I can get him to put it in his dog box I will just give it to him.

It's not a Mr PickUp bumper though? I'd love to have a Mr. PickUp bumper just for the local history. The manufacturing plant was right here in Moore at one time several years ago. Otherwise I have decent bumpers on the rear of my trucks unless I decide to cut the old homeade stop a freight train Git'R Done bumper on my C20.

Wow, really! I'm only about 40 minutes from Richmond, so it's not very far away.

It will take some coordinating, but I will work on it. I might have to take the mounting brackets off because it probably won't fit in his dog box and I doubt I could get him to cuddle up with it in his bunk until I got him worked back to Richmond.

I will send you a pic tomorrow to make sure you want it. It has a big Jesus bumper sticker on it, but that's easy to remove. @HotRodPC I have another one at my moms place in MO we took off her 86 when we put a flatbed on it. I can bring it back when I go up for Christmas if your wanting one. I also have a pair of good hoods I need to unload on somebody if you know of anybody looking.

Sounds good to me, I'll probably be here until around Christmas, then back again after new years.

I will be in OKC tomorrow and I'm going to try to swing by Mr Pickup if they're open. I hope they still carry square accessories.
