I was running open diffs on both ends. The reason I opted to do the front first was the type of driving I do, crossing small creeks and pulling up slippery boat ramps. The momentum of the truck would get me most of the way across a creek but then I needed the front end to pull me out the other side. Same with the launch ramps, the rear tires were down in the moss & muck but the fronts were on dry land.
I was going to put a Tru Trac in the rear later but decided to just keep it peg-leg because I like the street manners of the open diff and I'm not getting stuck as it is.
