My .2 cents is definitely keep it, man! Getting a square body that is that solid and never been restored is very rare man. If you don't keep it, though, I'm sure you wouldn't have a hard time finding one of us to take it off your hands for ya :)

That's a really nice truck considering the year and that fact tha most longbeds get beat on really bad. We use to have an old '78 3/4 ton with a 4spd and a hayspike.....that thing was one beat to hell rust bucket. I definitely say keep it! It's easier to work on than those new trucks out there.

Hi,

Bob here. Just purchased a 1985 K20 with LT9/SM465/NP208 drive train with 150K original miles. This is my first Chevy. Searching for info on these trucks and found this site. Live in Goodlettsville, Tennnesse which is north of Nashville. Looking for information and helpful people when I run into trouble. Thanks.

Welcome Bob, You're at the right place. You got the truck I want. K20 with a a manual trans. Only thing better would be a K30 with a manual trans, but not willing to shell out the biggo bucks it takes to get one, so i'll settle for a K20. :waytogo:

Wow, I didn't get this far into the thread before I responded. I know I'm jealous now. That's a sharp truck. Black isn't my preferance only cuz it so hard to keep nice looking but, nevertheless, that is one sharp looking truck. Not only a 3/4 ton hard to find for a decent price, hard to find it that good of condition anywhere in the country. You did real well with that purchase I think.
