Because I know you all like to see and hear stuff too....
The engine was still pretty cold and didn't want to idle well in gear.
Not bad sounding from a cheesy little "RV" cam with 9:1 compression in a 307 with Summit Vortec heads on it...

$h1t sounds killer!

Not much has gone on with the truck.
Well, he put the rest of the exhaust on it as it was overpowering inside the bare cab.
We had to wear earplugs as it would resonate horribly.

He still needs to put a crossover into the exhaust.
But he loves it.
For a simple 307, it rips and pulls hard past 6,000 and will break them loose at the shift points.

Last week Junior found a set of 15x10's for the rear of his truck to go with the 15x8's he has for the front.
He ended up accidentally buying a 5x5 lug pattern for the rear instead of the 5x4.75 he has.
But since he already has spacers on the rear, he simply purchased a new set that has both patterns.
The tires on the wheels are 275/60/15's for the rear and 255/60/15 for the front.

Previous set of wheels under it.

These wheels look way better on the truck with the same tires.
He had also last week stripped and repainted the front fenders of the terrible faux patina from the PO.

He drives the wheels off of the truck.
Currently it leaks transmission fluid and that is bugging him.
So he is saving to put the 4L80 into the truck currently.

Last week he installed a set of air shocks so he could actually use it without bouncing the axle tube off the frame while doing it.
He went and picked up his dirt bikes from my brothers house and it went much better going this way with the air shocks...

The one you can see is the Yamaha IT250 he picked up for $350.
It needed the head and jug to be drilled and tapped for larger hardware as the PO stripped them out.
But now it runs like a champ.
He was putting new tires on it over at my brothers while he dog sat for them while they were on vacation.

You can also see his Polaris 500cc quad under the tarp next to my IT 175 and Kawasaki 100 G4TR.

The other bike in his truck is his 1981 XT250 that he picked up a while ago.
It is the one he has the most seat time on so far.

Oooff, that is an old photo from last year.

Here is one I just took a minute ago.
New stainless exhaust and six pack rack from a vendor in Taiwan and fresh tank from India.
It would seem that other parts of the world had this platform much longer than we in the states did.

My IT175 started life as an IT125, but has since been upgraded to the 175 size.
I have just been slackin and have not done the maintenance on it to make it a full blown runner.
