FWIW - I installed an online pump with my Pro Flo 4 system originally. Stupidly, my first test drive was on an offroad trail in the middle of nowhere and it nearly left me stranded - the brand new pump kept overheating and I'd lose fuel pressure, needing to pull over every 10 minutes or so and spray it down with water for 5 minutes. I ended up replacing both tanks and going with internal pumps
