I guess this is why my truck cranks but doesn’t start lol . I guess I need new engine?! I havent done leak down test but this sux

I agree with Marineone, I bet you got a couple valves not closing. Mine had a stuck exhaust valve and I had zero compression on the cylinder.

Maybe a head gasket issue.

When adjusting a cylinder how do you know when the lifter is in correct max position before adjusting it?

Since 4,6,8 are bad how do I adjust the number 4 intake and exhaust?

If you're going to take valve springs off I would suggest the rope method. Might wanna change the valve seals too while your at it.
