Looking for opinions on Lowering Kits

Wanting to lower my 78 short box as well. Will 2" McGaughys spindles make the wheels rub on the lower control arms? Thinking a 2" spindle with drop coils should hopefully get me where I want to be without rubbing on anything.

i think most of that will depend on wheel backspacing.

ive read most people only have issues with 3" drop spindles but id say expect a small amount of clearanceing needed just in case.
