Hey y’all. I’m not able to post in the classifieds yet since I’m still a junior member. I’m looking for some camper mirrors, preferably the original swing away camper mirrors. Does anybody know where I could find these?

I must note that I found some generic style on LMC Truck, but they look a little “cheap” lol. Worst case scenario then I guess the LMC style would work but I think the originals look better.

You can find them in the junkyard. The nice thing about them is you can attach turn signals to the mirrors and even radio antennas. Those LMC truck mirrors are a total piece of ****.

For legality sake, I would put a amber cover on the rear facing ones, because often times the use of red has to be toward the back end, at least for light duty vehicles.
Creative idea tho! :)

no worries. I prefer the 4 arm camper style and I think I’ll just go and try the LMC generic version. Thanks

Question tho… in regards to the LMC truck mirrors, will the brackets line up to the factory holes or will I have to cut additional holes?

do you already have the holes and internal door brace for those mirrors?

the holes are there from factory. The RPO sheet has the “camper mirrors” listed, so I’m assuming the internal brace is there as well.

well, in that case, you are very lucky. someone must have downsized before. In that case I would say even if the LMC(LMC tend to be low quality..) dont fit, you can easily make them fit.
I would look for a used set on ebay. fords used them too. RV dealers still sell them per a guy on another forum, but ive never looked for a rv dealer or checked online lol

Lol awesome. I figured the LMC version would work, but I just wanted to verify with others experience and reviews.

I’ve been searching for a set on EBay and Craigslist since I’ve made this post and I’ve come across a few for sale, but some sets are listed for almost $200 or they’re the 3 arm version. I need the 4 point.

Thanks for all the helpful advice.

I’ve got a set of the 3 point from an 88 R3500 Dually too. The lens and gaskets are gone but the huge bracket and mirror backing are in great shape.
