Anyone who doesn't want to their 833? I'm a player. I've always thought the 833 was the big part of this. As a matter of fact I just read O.P.s post again and the truck he describes is always what I figured this truck was. I know it's V8 gas. 4speed, Anyone know more about what this truck was.

I agree with the previous comments in the long bed driving the cost down. In Texas, from what I've seen, this truck would go for about $3000-$4500 on a good day. I went through and replaced my interior with LMC parts mostly, and came out to about $1200. Carpet, sound deadener, seat reupholster, dash, door panels, seat belts, console. So that might be something to factor into your equation when thinking about how much you want to spend. It sounds like it runs good though so that's a huge plus. You can work on cosmetic stuff and still drive it as you go.

Keep us posted!

If you can find that same configuration with the manual everything for 4500.00 I can have it car hauled for around 1200.00. 1000.00 for you for finding it.

Ricko1966, That had to be a V8 diesel truck getting 28mpg highway, and with the "standard rear axle" 2.72 gears!!

What do you guys think of this one? I have the VIN it is what he says it is. Why the 5 bolt pattern on the wheels if it's a C20 and what rear end does it have? Just curious and this gentleman is really nice. Curious on the transmission as well. Thanks in advance.

I appreciate it. Not sure what to do yet. Engine is questionable and I have to find a bench seat.

Damn! I know of at least 6 similar trucks with ZERO rust for about 1/3 that price here in Southern AZ. I have been contemplating taking $30K out of my savings and buying all 6 of them. Put em on truck, head east and triple my money! :manos:

The 350 looks like it has everything there. What does the seller say about it not running? What maintenance would he have done if he had the time/means?
Could be as simple as corroded battery terminals or as complex as poor compression. It would be nice to have an idea of what degree of "maintenance" as he said, is needed to get it driving.

Its not a C20. It has C10 badges on the fender and that's a 12 bolt rear end. C20 in 74 would have had a 14BFF rear end and 8 lug axles. That is a crazy price for something that has been that hacked together and doesn't run. There are a ton of trucks just like that all around the PNW. There was at least 4 of them in WAY better condition than that for sale at the PIR swap meet in portland and they were in the $8-10k range, but 4x4 and short bed C10 or step sides. The 2wd is much cheaper up here because everyone wants 4wd for snow/ice and offroading.
