This whole thing does not make me feel warm and fuzzy. My fall back plan is to pull the regulators out of my glass donor doors as they are way better than the ones I have in regard to the rollers.

So I ordered them from usa1 who said they were in stock, there response to a status of order request yielded the dreaded " backordered till further notice, no ETA". I am going to wind up pulling the regulators out of a set of donor doors with good rollers. Do they unbolt to come out, or do you need to drill out the spot welds near the door handle inside?

Good luck! See my post yesterday, similar issue with The Truck Shop.
I understand that we may have trouble finding or be unable to find some parts for these “antique” vehicles, but if you are advertising and selling a part, it needs to ******* fit!
Same deal w/returning my parts. Said we will give you credit to re order. Return shipping is on the buyer, and that’s the right part number so can’t help you with fitting it to “your” truck.
If ya don’t have the part, that’s fine, no harm no foul. If ya have the part and it’s not right, fix it! Sorry for the rant
We value and want to hear your feedback*
*registered mail for sending it in is on the buyer

I believe it is 4 fasteners that come out near the crank handle area, that will release the entire regulator.

Also, please keep me posted if those are correct. I am about ready to lose my crap on mine......and getting the same damned answer & pictures from other places of the wrong parts. So I have said eff it, I am working on other stuff on the truck.

I am sure I will need this again, so here is the video I watched that helped me get mine out (regulator removal around 1:25);

Any luck getting these rollers? If so, what do they like?

I am about ready to say "eff-it" and reverse engineer them and have a few machine shops bid the job and see how much they come back at.

I ran into the same problem with lmc rollers. I cut the old roller stud off and punched out the stud. Then cleaned the area up and welded the hole shut. Drilled a correct size hole and installed the lmc rollers. I know all don't have a welder but maybe a buddy has one. Oh yes and if you do this mark the side of the regulator that the roller goes on. It's easy to get mixed up after cutting the rollers off.
