Found these in one of the old sheds. The red one just says water pump. What year did they quit using grease on water pumps? lolol

The 7.8L Isuzu diesel used in the 00's GM 6500-8500 trucks has a grease fitting on the water pump, lol.

I got this old pump many years ago from a small marina on a lake in central KY.
I have friends that have the older visible style pumps, but I’m not that old and never used them. This is the style that was used when I learned to drive.
It took a lot of work to get it back to this shape.. it’s in front of my shop building.

Ok, I know this is not mechanical or car related but it is in my garage :) Its not all of it but here is a sample. The 8x10 photos and mini helmets are autographed.

I like finding old stuff at the thrift stores around here.

Heinz Ketchup phone from the early 80's.
Still works as I tested it when we got home...

Today I was seeing what treasures were stashed in a parts car that I recently bought and discovered that I now own a billboard sign, lol. It was folded up neatly in the car, but I had just assumed it was a pool cover or bale stack tarp or something.

I believe it's about 20 years old. My wife says we should put it up on one of the barn roofs, facing the house. I kinda like that idea.

Found these under the seat on Saturday. The knife was much dirtier, took some 600 grit sandpaper to it, and washed it in mildly bleachy soapy water. Gonna clean it up some more, and put a good edge on it and use it. Never heard of Carmichael, but going to do some more research.

The wrench is cool too, and will also get put to use.

I have been collecting NASCAR memorabilia for several years now. Recently buying/moving into a new house, I'm slowly getting things set up. Here's a few pics from the basement....
