One of the first automotive tools I ever bought to use on my first vehicle, a 1966 Chevy Caprice, with a 396, thing was as big as a barge! And had a back seat to match, almost like a mobile bedroom, lol. Ahhh...such memories come flooding back when I remember that car!

I used those at my grandparents station when I was a kid. One of my jobs was to keep the oil shelf stocked. The other was wash windows, check oil, check tires and pump gas. Basically a gas station attendant but was under the age of 10, heck even as a teenager I didn't work with a work permit. Only had one guy come through that asked me why I was working so young. He is probably one of our lousy liberal politicians now!!

OK, here's a sample that I don't think will violate any of the forum rules! And what memories it brings back!

I love old thermometers like those, I've got an old Dr. Pepper one.

An old metal oil can spout and a galvanized can with a spout from the 60’s to pour oil from. The can has no holes in it and is funny.

An old galvanized gas station water can for filling radiators from the 60’s. No holes in this one either.

An AC Delco tuneup meter from the 70’s that still functions.

Some oilers from the 70’s I’ve held onto.
