89S in my 92 S-10 I had I changed the bulbs in it by popping the solder loose and using regular 194 bulbs and they worked great.

The sockets in this cluster do not have contacts for the 194 bulbs to connect with. The contacts are only on the sides of the bulb for the leads to get soldered to. I improvised and winged the leads out sideways from the bulb, stuck the bulb in, and wrapped the leads around the contact under the flap of the contact that gets pushed against the printed circuit, crude but phuckit. All the LEDS. Are installed right now except for the high beam, SES, and turn indicators. Getting ready to install the cluster now.
