This is awesome! What is the typical drive setup for these to get the higher speed? Just different pulleys?
Swap the rear drive pulley - going from 10 or 11 " to 2-3" means we get up to around 30-40 kmph. Our local peace officers came out for a race and sat at the end of the straightway - 41 kmph was the highest speed that race.

They used to have lawnmower races in Phoenix, Buckeye specifically. Not sure if they still do. Out of morbid curiosity I took the whole family a couple years ago and was amazed at how packed the stadium was. It was definitely an interesting way to drop a $100 on tickets, snacks, etc.

We hung around afterwards and it appeared half the machines were owned/ maintained by one guy and he sells/ rents them to the drivers for the season/ race.

Men will aggresively race anything no matter how slow.

Great, I googled little beaver, beaver mower, beaver trimmer at work and now HR is calling...
Had my meeting with HR today, it didn't go well. Tried to explain to them that I was looking for something to trim wife's bush out front, really want to wack it down and get it smooth to prepare the area for a new hardwood I want to put in. I even told them that a Bush on an online forum told me I should be looking for a nice Beaver and posted pictures. And if it worked well, I was going to use it out back as it's really dirty back there and she wants me to really spend some time grooming it.

Jeebus.
These are all Max's junkers.
He went hogwild on finding them a few years ago.
This is his latest and most expensive one, a Craftsman with blade and wheel weights on it.
Runs like a champ.

He also found this other Craftsman for free.
It has a better looking hood on it, so he swapped them around.

The little nerd also has all of these lurking in the back yard.
The green and silver Montgomery Ward is the best looking out of the pack for sure.

This is the first one that I said he could bring home.
It currently needs a new steering setup in it as the original one is stripped out.

But that is where this parts tractor comes in, it will be donating its front end eventually to save the red one.

Here is the make shift shelter we put up for them.
The old swing set covered with old corrugated steel roofing stretched from swing set to fence.
You can see the red one, a Snapper mower with his mini bike in front of it, the green machine, several push mowers, the parts tractor, and an old Sears rider that I have had forever.

Also the rototiller attachment that came with the red one.
Turns out I would rather just buy a rototiller to use rather than go through the attachment.
If any of you local types want it, I would take 24 cans of Diet Mt Dew for the attachment.

The blade(s) on yard tractors/ mowers are only for snow, correct. Can you use them for leveling rock, very light digging/ dozing?

It depends on your level of effort and commitment... but often just for snow and not heavy snow.

Have a similar Kubota diesel (TG1860). 3 cylinder water-cooled diesel, 54” deck. We call it The Beast. 2001 model with about 1800 hrs on it so far. Pic is from Google
