Does anyone know if red/white houndstooth material like this is still available somewhere?

I don't know about Red, but definitely Dark Green as the CEO where I work was wearing a Houndstooth sportcoat on Tuesday and it was identical fabric. I was going to take a picture but didn't think it was appropriate in this meeting. I'll get it next time and post it.

That fabric was used '80 through '82, available in K5 and Jimmy only. I don't know if that will help with your search.

The seat in my k20 is that color.

Just as a clarification, the material used on a truck bench was not the same. Besides being vinyl as opposed to cloth, the pattern is also a bit different.

Picture possible? I've never seen it or heard of it in a truck. The bucket seat pictured has the red vinyl strip across the shouldered area, but later covers like my '82 version have little white buttons instead of the red vinyl strip. What trimmings does your seat have?

I have no idea what its out of, but its in my 87 k20.
Its really weird. Its red vinyl on the sides, and its sorta a light brown and white polkadot velour underneath, and houndstooth over the top. Ill take pics tomorow

Just went out and unburied it.
I was totally wrong, its not red, its green. And I guess now that i look at it, its not really houndstooth, its more a houndstooth plaid. (Hadnt looked at it in a while, forgot)

Still fugly.

Neat! That seat has been recovered a time or two. But that final covering looks like it might be the correct fabric for a '79 K5. Maybe. Either way, I like it.

Yeah, id say so. I might be original seat frame, but only the vinyl part looks correct.

If you like it so much, ill trade you, lmao.
