Just brought home an 85

Never worked on a square body before so pretty excited. I've owned a 69 c10 and about 4 obs trucks. Currently have a '92 blazer. This was my wife's truck in high school and we brought it home about a month ago. It needs a lot of work. It has been sitting in her grandparents field since 2002. The engine and transmission is full of water, so I already found a replacement engine, now looking for a trans for it. The first 2 pics are when I found it and the last 3 are after a quick pressure wash. I have already gutted the interior and started the deep cleaning process. I don't know a lot about these particular trucks, but hope to learn a lot. Excited to get behind the wheel of this thing.

Cool. Its black and a GMC. It doesn't look too bad. By the time that you get done with that "deep cleaning" you should have a good knowledge of every part of it. You will have a nice ride when you get it running.
