Will post pics when I get back in town.
87k original miles, white with red interior
Saw the steering shaft mod, and wondering what else I should look to upgrade.
May change interior color to black/charcoal

Thanks for any advice

Sounds small, but the 1/2 inch pex pipe door striker bushing makes a bit of difference.

Looks like a static 5" front and 7" rear drop...with 22" wheels. I have a 5-7 drop with 20" wheels and it appears to be pretty close. It could maybe be air bagged as well, just sitting a bit aired down for the pic.

Nice. You could look up the headlight mod. By adding relays you'll run power straight from the battery to your headlights making them brighter. Build your own harness or if I remember correctly, harness's are available for ~$35.

You could also do the auto-dim w/temp rear view mirror. Fleabay for ~$55.

I thought about stock looking LED headlights would be nice.

Thanks

Aftermarket rocker arms are one of the best performance mods ever. Consider the 1.52 Comp Cams roller-tips as the best place to get the best bang for your buck.

Replace the oem rubber control arm bushings with polyurethane units. Well worth the time and effort! Replacing tightens up the front end and polyurethane wont wear out like rubber. I would also replace the front sway bar bushings with polyurethane as well. Replace the rag joint to tighten up the steering....and check the frame where he steering box bolts on for stress cracks (very common with these trucks to develop cracks there). If cracks are found they can be weld repaired and frame reinforced with steel plating. Unlike late model rack and pinion steering, there are more moving parts and linkage which if not maintained cause sloppy handling. Check ball joints, pitman arm and idlers for sloppiness.
