It’s all about personal preference. Both styles have a good strong following of collectors. I’ve always preferred the squarebody style over anything Ford was producing at the time.

The F100 looks good and appears to have good options.
I was never a fan of the big square headlights of an 80, squircle.

I'd take it if free but I buy Chevy.

It's up to your own preference, I don't think you will go wrong either way.

I take both as well. I just like the body lines of both. When Ford went with the indent of the body line for the side molding I didn't care for that. SBs no matter what year always cool though.

I'd prefer the Chevy, but here on the Land of Commiefornia, a '72 is smog exempt and probably in higher demand.

His has round eyes.

To the OP, I agree with Craig. Anything gas 75 and older or diesel 97 and older gets bonus points for being smog exempt.

The 360 is the same motor as the 390 other then being stroked down for emissions. It's the exact same motor.
well if it's stroked down for emissions then it's not the exact same, it's a less powerful version of an otherwise decent engine and has a shorter stroke for the sake of emissions. Sounds crappy to me...
