Mexican trucks did carry over the square bodies for a few years beyond 87. Most that I've seen pics of had subtle oddities like the taillights were usually different.

Yeah they seem odd ball. Seems like they didnt have 700r4 over drives, at least some I’ve seen said 3 speed.

Actually show as a 3/4 ton, 2500 or c20.

I think those late production trucks that were sent to Mexico were basically put together with left over parts and pieces so it wouldn't surprise me if it had a th350 in it even being a 90. Probably had a bunch laying around that they needed to unload after using them for so long LOL

I thought the beds were different on Mexican versions, but I Googled and found a variety of bed versions. If you look up the Hunter Edition you'll find the 89-91 grill in several trucks, but have the standard US bed.

I totally agree. I want to go look at it. I kinda think I should get a dealers license and do that on the side; but ACTUALLY do them correctly. It needs $800-1200 in interior work to make it Excellente. My buddy has a 90 suburban in his yard if i need parts hmm.

Anyway, I use to see an Ecuadorian girl in the summers when she would come see her mom who coincidentally married a friend of mine. She was showing me pics and I always had to ask whats up with the random weird GM cars. She had some cobbled together GMC diesel SUV that was actually pretty new. I guess they send all the random **** down there. I was reading they would assemble them like at the dealers or something...
