They sound good.. But i dont get "rolling coal" either... What is so cool about not getting enough air to your engine??? the less coal you roll, the faster you go

You richen up the fuel ratio in a diesel and when you stomp it you get that big cloud of black smoke that makes all the greenies cry

I've never been, nor will I ever be, a tree hugger. However, the idea of wasting fuel in "rolling coal" just doesn't appeal to me. Nothing like driving through a tunnel when someone who insists on rolling coal is in front of you.
Don't get me wrong. I am always looking for ways to justify buying a diesel truck. I damn sure wouldn't turn down a Sierra HD Denali CCSB.

I cant believe how much these trucks cost, blows me away. A guy I used to work with was bragging about getting a good deal on his 07 Duramax, his steal of a deal was something retarded like 45k!

My company rig was purchased in 05 new, it is a 2500 HD gas motor WT, it was purchased during the real estate boom so construction was going strong, I believe the LT was close to the same price. I still have the window sticker 45K now you can get diesel LT for 50ish which is what mine will be replaced with whenever it dies (soon probably 310k miles now). I could build quite possibly the baddest square around for this much money. Its crazy.
Now that I am done helping everybody change the whole model of this thread (we do that a lot) sorry OP. The insane mod I would do is twin turbo big block, 14B FF in rear with fat meats, pulling wheelies, with a 200 shot of nitrous for about the 500 foot mark and beyond.

mine wouldn't look like an extreme mod at all... 454 small block dressed like a stockish smogger small block, fed by a Quadrajet, weight shaved everywhere i can, engine and trans set back a couple inches for weight transfer, Blazer tank in the rear, with stock Blazer fuel fill behind the rear tire... basically it would look like a stock truck, minus the ratchet shifter, and go like hell.
