My name is Justin, i have a 1979 Chevy Scottsdale K10 long bed that came with a 350 Small block but i intend to put a 454 HO in it with a manual trans in it. i want it to be able to drive around on the highway but also offroad well so i can have fun with it

Over the decades, I have seen several white winter holidays in Tucson, and with the screwy weather we have been getting, don't be surprised if you see one there.

Just my curiosity as to why you want to replace a light 350 with a much heavier big block, unless you've got one of those humongus off-road trailers that you pull?

Well the SBC was blown (piston rod in cyl 6 was in cly 1) and I just decided I want a bigger engine for doing fun stuff with it like offloading mud boggin and yes towing. I posted pictures in another thread
