Do what I did.. Wind your own from a piece of piano wire obtained from an "arts and craft" store -- Hobby Lobby or similar outlet..

.....or just ditch the springs and use magnets

Are the springs the same year-to-year? I followed the link the classic industries earlier in the thread and the only ones they carry say they are for 73/74.

I believe they are the same up to '77.

I could be wrong. Won't be the first time.

My truck is an 86. I can't seem to find a source. Having the ashtray hang wide open and bounce is getting old. I want to be able to use the power port to charge my phone though.

Can't find a source for the springs. The classic parts sells them for a 73-74.

That looks like the same springs to me.
