Don't laugh here, I'm trying to figure out if I can fit one in the back of my little Honda, for transportation NOT running it there.

There's a guy getting rid of one, but he's about 300 miles away. I don't have access to a truck easy, and I'm trying to figure if I can lay one in the back of my Honda Fit hatch. It regularly takes my bass speaker which is 2ft x 2.5ft by 4 ft. The difficult part is getting it thru the hatch itself, once inside it's OK.

According to this https://matveynator.ru/f/9efda83135c6d53e16e47aab9a0122c4.pdf it's 27.5' in two directions, so it's maybe a possibility, I don't know.

Anyone who has achieved this, please chime in.

umm, it's not the dimensions that you'll have to worry about, it's the weight. A 6.2 will set a half ton pickup almost on the bump stops. A car that was designed to MAYBE have a 400lb cargo capacity (including driver) isn't gonna move very far.

Are you thinking of a Prius? I think they have a 7-800lb max limit.

The 6.2 is only 700lbs? Sure I'd be happier if I was 50lbs lighter, but who wouldn't :D

that 14bolt in the back of the mustang is a huge fail

but as for the 6.2 its very similar in size to a 350

It is not so much the capacity of vehicle and the weight. But the way to load the heavy engine in. I carried a sbc in a passenger seat area of my trans am, but we took the heads off because it was too hard to load it in(good old college days and living in apartment complex)

Man, that first 1:15 was brutal. May want to mention that next time. Lol

The difficult part is getting it thru the hatch itself, once inside it's OK
I'm thinking the difficult part is going to be getting it out. Hope you have a good plan....

Good thing he had that wood in the bed to keep the boulder from damaging it.
