Need input. Was thinking 2/4 would be good but now not so sure. 4/6? I know one thibg, I have no desire to use drop hangers. Been there done that on many trucks including an 86. Im thinking a flip kit. And either spindles or coils....I guess If I go 4" up front ill have to use coils and spindles? And do they make a 6" flip kit?

I need shocks anyways. Figured I'd lower it and then buy em. No towing on this truck. Red truck for that. This will be a straight cruiser, maybe my DD if the mileage is better than the 14 I get in the C20.

I was totally against lowering the C20, but this one, a little lower would look good. I think I'd go with the 2/4 and call it good.

Personally I like the 4/6 drop, but if you're going to to be keeping stock wheel&tire size you will be better off doing 2/4. I would do flip-kit , spindles and springs for the 4/6 ; spindles or springs for 2"frt, shackles and removing a leaf of or two from rear for 4"( this will seriously reduce load capacity but soften ride). Plus replacing all shocks with shorter ones.
I have had good luck buying parts from Summit Racing , but I have also bought parts at Competition Sales in Houston.

:laughing1: I know where he's going with that.

He's making an assumption. That the wife said NO lowering kit, you've spent enough on the trucks lately.

No, I decided I would sell it to the brother and therefore wasn't going to spend more than I had to.
