7.44 L for your non-american ass.....Can anyone tell me what the displacement of a 454 is?
I know this... I was just fishing from MisterB to tell me the difference between the aftermarket HEI and factory looks. But I may never know his thoughts. I feel empty inside. Lost even.

Edit: Should I have written that in French???
I like Standard Blue Streak Cap, Rotors, and Coils. AC Delco Parts quality isn't what it used to be.Your 80 should have an HEI in it
General Motors starting using HEI in 1974 they were used on all engines in 1975 through the mid 80s
I like the ACDelco D336X cap and the Speedway Replacement HEI Distributor Cap
with brass contact. Built to the MSD standards
It should still have a coil in the cap if it's aftermarket HEI.Again, because the HEI in the '69 is aftermarket. The one in the 1980 is factory. Keep up.
Actually 87 and up. I've got TBI in my 87 V-20. It's a different style of High Energy Ignition.I learned something new myself today, that 75+ used hei
Except the 88-91 obviously.

I was wrong two posts into this thread. I’m wrong a lot, but try to preface it with “I think” or “but I may be wrong”Pretty much. A forum without any fun or **** flicking is about as boring and useful as Wikipedia answers. With about the same level of incorrect ******** because no one wants to offend anyone else by saying they are wrong. This forum is fantastic and has saved my ass many times, which I've always apperiated, **** flicking included.
Well yes, some 87 trucks have tbi, but fewActually 87 and up. I've got TBI in my 87 V-20. It's a different style of High Energy Ignition.

Not so fast there professor. The amount of misinformation available on the interwebz is overwhelming. Also being able to copy and paste does not prove you know anything.Intelligent people spend the 30 seconds to search Google for their answer. Crayon eaters ask for their answers to be spoon fed to them, and then act immaturely; and toss insults at other more knowledgeable posters that don't answer their silly questions.
What's your favorite color to eat???
