When you look at the history of the '60's and '70's vehicles compared to today's POS manufacturers are rolling out you would think they could figure out WHY they lost their sales to these POS imports! Bean counters NEVER learn, "To make money, you have to spend money". They had a great product then but to 'improve' it they had to turn them into a POS. Go figure.

I dunno. There are more trucks sold today than ever before.

And it would appear "domestic" trucks have held their market share.

People need trucks, and (most) people have no choice but to buy new. Besides, most people are brainwashed to think new is better.

If by no choice you mean they are leveraged to the hilt and cannot pay cash for used, and can only afford the payment on a new truck then I agree with you.

Yes I mean this in part, but also that they can not even begin to comprehend getting their hands dirty. Seems most people just do what the Tell Lie Vision tells them to do.

Pretty much like the photos show, I guess. Iirc, they were shipped dry.

I've always been curious... obviously they had to have been shipped without fluids. But how did they get them transported to those ramps? Surely they weren't toting around brand new cars with a forklift.

Unless they drove them there with no oil. That could explain why those cars were oil burners, lol.

Never thought about it from that perspective. Someone must have the answer to that somewhere, it would be interesting to know.

Uhh, some of those have me really confused. Particularly the beige truck and the Hunter truck.

Mexican market.

Found them when I was looking for Aztek production pics because the Ramos Arizpe plant built squarebodies as well as A bodies and later Azteks.
