Hood ornament question

My 87 Burb was a Silverado with two tone and no hood ornament either

According to my 1986 Chevrolet Light-Duty Truck Facts Book, and I quote " EXTERIOR DECOR PACKAGE (ZY5) paint colors and trim are available (see interior and Exterior Color Availability Chart). The package includes the moldings described under Special Two Tone (ZY3). In addition, it includes dual-tone body side and rear tape decal striping keyed to the exterior body color. This striping is applied to the front fenders, side doors and body sides and rear a few inches above the styling crease line. The areas above the striping and below the molding are painted the primary paint color. The secondary color is used between the striping and the molding. A bright spring-loaded, stand-up type hood ornament is included on gasoline engine models."

my 85 scottsdale didnt have any hood trim either

the hood ornament could be a special edition, a trim thing(depending on year maybe?), diesel, and then id assume maybe other small details but who knows lol
All Iknow is they are kinda small in my opinion, the buick logo on the electra is larger and being a buick logo it works out there but the sqaures having a small rectangle seems weird

I just looked at the SPID sheet for my '84 K1500 Sierra Classic with a hood ornament. There is one item listed as "Option # ZY5 Exterior Decor Pack." My '85 C10 Silverado without a hood ornament lost it's SPID sheet long before I had it, so I can't really compare. Unfortunately the hood ornament equipped Suburban didn't have an intact SPID sheet either.
