It's very subtle Christian but in fact different. Looking at the frame moving forward it right after the front cab body mount where the 4x4 sweep begins upward. The 2x the sweep starts a little later. It doesn't really leave room for the rear shackle. The DIY 4x kit uses longer rear springs and the front mount hangs down below the rad mount, lower than stock. The rear shackle is mounted a little further back than stock 4x4 and also hangs lower. But as I said this kit is for going big because it will give about 6" lift minimum over stock 4x4.Are you sure about the upward frame sweep? I'd never heard of that being different before. The reason I ask, is how different could it be when the body mounts under the core support, and cab have to be in the same place, along with the engine mounts to locate the driveline? Not asking to be argumentative, just trying to picture how much difference there can be on 2 sets of arcs with fixed points in the same locations along them.
