Hi all,
It's a 305 Quadra jet. Starts ok after several pumps of gas. Choke will open after it warms up. But she idles high. There looks to be a solenoid attached on the driver side of carb via an angle bracket and 2 screws. There is a brass piston that seems to hold open the throttle linkage. I can push it in, but once I gas it, the piston pushes out again. Am I correct in thinking of replacing selonoid if that is what it is?
