Originally, the rear axle would have been a 14 bolt full floater. They have the axle shafts that bolt to the wheel hubs, with 8 bolts on each side. They also have a pinion support that is bolted into the pumpkin.

I'm fairly certain the T-case should be a NP205.

Yes it is, I see mega potential in that one. I sometimes wonder if maybe I should hold off for a crew cab before I do a restore. Hate to put all the time, money and effort into a standard cab when I really prefer a crew cab, or Burb so that I have room for more than just 2 or 3 people. I'd even go with a K5 Blazer but I'd have to convert to 3/4 or 1 ton axles since I don't care much for 1/2 ton drivetrains.

Well unfortunately it does not drive much at all. The th400 needs a rebuild. I did limp it a few miles before I bought it but only enough to know it turns corners like the Titanic likely did.
