In the process of redoing my truck the radiator core support brackets on the frame we're pretty rotted out so I look on LMC and they had them so I ordered them and in the process of getting the old ones off I destroyed them because hey who cares I have new ones coming. Well when they got here they do not fit. They say I ordered for the wrong year no I'm at a standstill and can't find them anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well what year truck do you have? And are you sure it's that year? Front clip or core support ever changed? What year is the radiator out of? Is truck all original?

Always keep the old until you get the correct replacement. But pics are a plus when asking for help, as well year and model, because you may not be working on the '78 K10.

On your '80 frame on the brackets you have there is a notch about even with the rivets just under the top plate the '81-87 don't have that and when I would line up my 2 holes with the ones in the leaf hanger the 4 holes in the frame weren't even close and it sat about 1/2 inch higher then the frame rail.... I'm so lost.

I see it's a K10, so that's a plus. Are you doing a resto on the truck? Or just looking to replace the rotted mounts? If you're doing a resto then a junkyard or Ebay, also there is a FB site for squarebodies and parts which I believe is in Indiana. If you're just looking to replace the rotted mounts I would suggest buying aftermarket ones like the ones from DIY4x because you never know when you want to upgrade.
