Hi, just decided to register because I'm done lurking! Bought my 1983 Chevy K5 blazer just over Christmas break for 1000 and a little trade
Right now it is at my father's house in Bastrop and I am at college at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Once school lets out I'm going to get started on my K5 resto-mod project but before I spend any money, I thought it prudent to make the great advice and knowledge on gmsquarebody available to myself. Once summer gets closer i'll probably start posting threads asking questions. A few things are on my mind; a transmission swap, body work, new wheels and tires, paint, underhood housekeeping (power steering pump, carb tune, ignition) and lastly interior and audio. For now I'm going to do some more searching and self education.

Fresh rebuilt sbc 305 cu in
Stock 4 speed standard trans (sm465?)
