You're close on the 100 series Land Cruiser, the correct engine nomenclature is 2uz-fe, ie the 4.7L v8. Not the most powerful, but probably the smoothest running engine I've ever owned.

I was razzing you- the 1FZ- FE is ( I think) the 80 series straight 6 with the Pesky Heater Hose (PHH).

Not an issue you will have to deal with.

You're correct, I just have to deal with a timing belt and a starter that's under the intake manifold...
