Sounds good! Shipping is normally not so expensive. I ordered some parts at rockauto and it is ok. Give me an update after work.

Don't reckon we see many square bodies in Germany! Pretty cool - welcome to the club!

Thx for the update and the link. I will check a dealer in Germany. Maybe he can help.
The dash from ebay looks a little bit different than mine. Maybe i have a 75 k10... The theme with the weong Vin sucks a little bit. I hope, i will find another somewhere on the truck.

I love american cars!!! But the sizes and the engines are not so good for germany. Parkslots are to small and gas is very expensive but i don‘t care :)
Its just for fun and for the woods. Not a daily driver.

Ok. I will take a look at it at the weekend. Are there any other known places?

We have:
plate in door
Frame

The Vin from the post looks different. The first letter is missing.

I think the number on the side of the frame is a part number. The 73 won’t have a vin in the dash, it’ll be at the door. On a later truck, there is a partial vin stamped on top of the passenger side frame rail just behind the cab. Problem is, you’ll need to pull the bed to see it. Not sure if 73 has it there or not.

Okaayyyy, pull up the bed needs some time. Is there an other way to identify the year? I‘m really not sure if this is 73!
