Was told by a radiator shop to not get aluminum? Ordered a vista pro 399077 from summit because the picture is copper/brass. That combo is impossible to find!

Thanks.

I should have called oreilly before ordering from summit, they have a Murray brand in brass/copper. Still have to wait for it though. No idea which is better

From what i have been reading that's how it looks. Will tear it apart tomorrow and new core should be here thursday

Most anything newer makes a squarebody heater core (w or wo/AC) seem easy. Fixing all the other little problems with the air box (w/AC) i.e. seals, actuators, vacuum lines, is a bigger job.

Argh explains why i don't get full airflow to defrost i guess
