I have a 80 K10

I installed a nice roll pan, welded it in and painted the truck.

Now I want a bumper FML

Is there anyway to cut access holes in the roll pan and install a new stock GM rear bumper ??

or any bumper for that matter

In the case of a step bumper, it would be pretty easy. You just need two vertical cuts in the pan, but you my need longer brackets as the upper step of the bumper usually fits in the recess of the bed. The ends of the bumper would still be notched oddly though.

Here is the after market bumper that originally came on my truck. The third picture just has the brackets on it. I installed an old Reunel bumper on mine. You my have to fab something if you're keeping the roll pan.
