Has anyone shifted vent & climate down & radio on top?

I’d like to switch it around, but haven’t looked behind climate controls. I’d be cool to put radio on top slot with a tablet head unit.

Anyone know what sizes dash speakers are?

No but I see ne reason it shouldn't be possible might just need to make brackets.

My plan is I bought these and will mill it out to put radio with flip up screen in dash

Nice. That’s what I want to do, but in top ac vent.

Back when I hit the trails several times a year, I installed a blower from an aftermarket unit in the radio hole. I'd hit the toggle switch & get a blast of air right up my shorts & on the jewels! That was very refreshing when back in the hills/trails with no breeze & NC humidity.

Corner dash speakers are 3.5". Factory dash speakers have a special mount. To use aftermarket speakers you can get adapters or dedicated speakers from Crutchfield and other sources.
